IS4NCDs is a partnership of higher education institutions from South Africa (University of the Witwatersrand, Stellenbosch University), Zambia (University of Zambia, Copperbelt University), and Europe (Utrecht University Medical Centre, Ludwig Maximilian University Munich, Institute of Tropical Medicine). It strengthens institutional capacity to train health, education, and research professionals in implementation science, addressing rising NCD rates in South Africa and Zambia. The project is co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ programme.
